Kinross

Kinross is a residential area. Kinross is bounded by the City of Wanneroo in the north, the proposed Mitchell Freeway in the east, Burns Beach Road in the south and Marmion Avenue in the west. Kinross is named after a small village near Perth, Scotland.

Development of the area dates primarily from the 1990s, with rapid growth from the early 1990s. The population has increased from less than 400 in 1991 to about 7,100 in 2006, a result of new dwellings being added to the area.

Major features of the area include Callander Park, Falklands Park, McNaughton Park and two schools.
